Deal Find – Bass Two Tone Saddle Boots

A few weeks ago, I included these Bass Two Tone Saddle Boots from Urban Outfitters in a fall fashion finds post.

Yesterday, I was doing a little shopping online and came across the same boots at Silberman’s for $52 LESSthat’s almost HALF price!  They even have a wider range of colors and sizes …  SCORE!!!!

Reader Discount – Whooga Uggs!

What could be more comfy [for your feet] than boots that feel as warm and cozy as slippers? Actually, they are warmer and cozier than slippers – and you can wear them outside!  I’m talking about Whooga Ugg Boots.  [Not to be confused with the UGG (all caps) brand ... ugg is a style ... read more here.]  Made from sheepskin and lined with Thermofleece, the boots conform to the shape of your foot, keep your feet warm, don’t get smelly, and even help increase circulation.  Can your slipper or boot do all of that?

To be completely honest, I never really liked ugg boots.  But now you can find all kinds of styles and colors and I think if you pair them with leggings and and a long sweater, anyone can rock an ugg.

If you sign up for Whooga’s newsletter, you get entered in their monthly drawing for FREE BOOTS!  You can also follow them on Twitter, where their latest giveaway asked fans what was their favorite Whooga Ugg color and why.  What are you waiting for?!

In addition to all the giveaways, Whooga is offering a special discount for Furious Shirley readers – 10% off your orders for the next week!  Just visit Whooga Ugg Boots and use code 963FURIOUS !  XO

Cutest Little Black Dress

How cute is this little black dress?!  Soooo cute, right?  You can find it at lola [on Etsy] … and be sure to browse through the shop – she has some really amazing dresses.

And if you don’t want to wait until next spring to wear this little number, just throw on some tights, boots, and a chunky cardigan – like this one from lamixx [also found on Etsy] – looks so cozy and comfortable, doesn’t it?

DIY Jewelry Organization

In our old apartment, I had most of my jewelry in vintage boxes and my necklaces hung from two large hooks on the bathroom wall.  Since we moved, it’s all still in a box because I haven’t figured out how I want to organize it yet.  I started looking around for some good ideas and thought I would share some of the best.

Lori from Paisley Wallpaper stores her jewelry in these cute little molds.  Great idea if you have the drawer space!

I love the way an old frame and a piece of screen were used for an earring display.  Check out the full tutorial at Restored Style [she also has some other great jewelry storage ideas, so be sure to look around].

Or if DIY is not your thing, you can buy one that someone else made by hand.  This earring frame was built from weathered barn wood by Paradise Hill Designs.

A Few Fall Fashion Faves

There was a slight chill in the air this morning.  It didn’t last long, but it was there … fall is coming.  It is my favorite season and with good reason.  Cool and crisp jacket-optional weather, hot coffee instead of iced, leaves crunching under my boots, snuggling instead of sweating, and the clothes – oh the clothes.  Here are a few of my favorites, and expect more soon.

The boots.  The boots.  I love these boots.  Urban Outfitters.  They also come in a maroon/navy option and will look great with just about anything – like this dress from Zara.  It looks so comfy.  I think I’d pair it with an oversized cardigan, thick tights, and boots.

How great is this cowl neck tunic from ASOS?!  Loving the plaid, loving the neck … makes a simple tunic something special.

Totally rad halter vest from Topshop.  This backless number would work great with a fitted tuxedo shirt or even a turtleneck.

And let’s not forget about the men in our lives.  I can definitely see Michael rocking these new styles from Keds at Bloomingdales.

Feel Good In Organic Shoes From Payless

In case you haven’t heard, Payless now carries a line of eco-friendly footwear [all styles under $30].  The line is made by zoe & zac and are packaged in recycled boxes printed with soy-based inks.  The styles are fashioned out of organic cotton, hemp, nickel-free hardware, etc. … and most importantly, they look pretty good.  Here are a few of my favorite summer looks:
